Thanks Mark. A good and timely comment. I, for one am continually mystified by the requests for rich text in comments - what for? Preserving links, ok, I get it. But it it gets big and clunky and starts auto-formatting my text like word does, I am not going to be a fan.
I would like to see tabs with various views so I can zoom in on everything related to a context or project and have an easier time doing a weekly or project review. I would also like to see a more robust printing system so I can collect actions during a meeting and print out something akin to minutes without having to play around with HTML templates I would also like to see an emphasis on the mobile apps as collectors of tasks and statuses and therfore I thing the sync improvements with cloud sync and the mobile tools were a godsend, and now we need a rapid task entry parser on the blackberry app, and automated syncing on the portable apps so I can be sure my collected actions are on my desktop without having to pull out my BB and sync by hand. Lastly, I cannot resist commenting on the tablet debate. I will say this - a touchscreen is a fabulous interface device, but what it replaces is a mouse. It is infinitely more intuitive and simple to use than a mouse. Hopefully, it gets rid of the silly conventions of the mouse driven world (what are the pictures on buttons for? Why not words? Who are all these illiterate people the OS makers think are using computers?), but, well, the most commonly sold addon for an ipod is a keyboard. I wouldn't lose any sleep worrying about people with paying, knowledge worker jobs flocking in droves to peck out their tasks one finger at a time - and those are the paying mlo customers.
