My apologies if this is already known - couldn't find it by searching the list.
MLO 3.6.1 Professional on Windows 7, 32-bit Description: If you select multiple, nested tasks in the outline so that both a parent and a child task are selected, copy them and paste in another application, the child task will be listed twice (or more). Procedure: 1. Open any MLO file which contains tasks and sub-tasks. 2. Using keyboard or mouse select one task and its subtask (immediate child). Two items should be visibly selected. 3. Press Ctrl+C. 4. Open Notepad and press Ctrl+V. Result: Even though two tasks were selected, the pasted result contains three lines: the subtask is listed twice. (Once indented, once not). Expected result: The pasted outline should be an exact copy of the original. No tasks should be listed more than once in the pasted data. Example: if you have two items like this: Parent task -- Child task and you do the above procedure, the pasted result is: Parent task -- Child task Child task - which is obviously wrong. If more than one subtask is included in the selection, they all get repeated in this way. Subtasks that are more deeply nested will be repeated more times. It appears that when I press Ctrl+C, MLO starts at the first selected item and gathers the text of the task and all its children, then proceeds to the next selected item (a subtask) and repeats the procedure, even though the subtask has already been processed. This behavior is quite unexpected, I hope it can be fixed soon! :) Thanks! marek -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
