Thanks for the suggestions. Cutting & pasting accomplished what I needed. Yesterday I was looking over the Keyboard Shortcuts in the MLO help files, and I found a shortcut that does exactly what I was asking for. Alt-Left: Jump back/forward to previously selected task. After using the "move" command, pressing Alt-Left will jump to the task that was just moved. Then Alt-Right will return to the next task in the Inbox.
