Dear MLO, My Life Organized looks like everything I was looking for! It truly seems the ultimate life manager and I would love to use it on my many devices.
But the Windowsversion looks nothing like the (brilliantly pretty) Android app. I *think* I have a grasp at how MLO was meant to use. (I read Getting Things Done a while ago, and I'm a college student in The Netherlands.) But I seriously have no idea how to make my desktop MLO look anything like the structure I tried to create in the app on my phone. The app shows you can sync via MLO cloud. But since that is a paid feature I would like to know if the structure I made in the app would automatically be implemented in the desktop-version. I read somewhere that would not be the case. Is that true? Maybe in the 4.0 version I read about on the blog? Also: I've been looking for an application that does exactly what MyLifeOrganized can do, and MLO seems truly unique in these wonderful features. But I kind of need to have my tasks and goals and projects and structures exactly the same where ever I go and always in sync, on whichever device I use the application, even on the so-called flex- computers I often use at my university. Just like my e-mail, for instance. I work everyday on one of the hundreds of computers at the university. Everyday I use another computer which isn't occupied right that moment, for example if I have to work a few hours before my next class begins. If I can't acces my tasks and goals when I need to see or change them in my everyday changing workspace, it kind of wouldn't make sense for me to use MLO. I even practically live in two different locations (in the weekends I'm at my parents') so I barely use anything desktop. (At school students even stopt using USB-storage. All storage is web-based now and easy to share. We even share (parts of) to-do lists but aren't very happy with Wunderlist anymore (lack of subtasks) so this is were I ended up in the quest to find a better task-manager.) So is there a way to use MLO like this, in sync via internet? If it's possible to see my own version of MyLifeOrganized even on computers that aren't mine; I'm totally gonna use it and recommend other students to use it too. Thank you!
