Andrey's Road map sticky post from September 2011 is very clear that he has about 6 projects on the front burner. Mac OS X is not one of them. Sure it would be really nice if he put a line in his road map that speaks to Mac OS X. (Wish he would just do that already...) Other than that, I'm glad that he's focused on delivering product. I hope that by now he has a solid backend MLO engine that's shared across platforms and the challenge is in creating a new user interface for Mac. The best way to 'vote' for a Mac version apparently is here: http://mlo.uservoice.com I haven't decided which of the following options I'll take on my Mac, but for the record here are some ideas: Virtual machines: 2,3,4,5 are free, except for the cost of the MS license 1. Parallels/Bootcamp 2. VMware 3. VirtualBox 4. QEmu 5. BartPE version of windows running in #1,2,3,4 (http://www.nu2.nu/ pebuilder/) for the adventurous It's a 'LiveCD' of windows, which when loaded in RAM is fast. Other: 1. Codeweaver's Crossover Office - a supported version of Wine. Iphone emulator running on Mac 3. Android emulator running on Mac It also would be really helpful if people posted about their experiences with all of these options.
