Most times it's extremely useful to have projects apear in the ToDo
view when all subtasks have been done (mine appear as emboldened),
basically asking if there are any other tasks that need to be done to
complete the project. Its a really useful way of incrementally
tackling projects. However, sometimes a project, especially very small
ones, can be completely scoped in advance and it's useful to have such
projects autocomplete themselves when their subtasks are done.

There already exists a way to do this in MLO:-
1. Set advanced recurrence options to "Disable Automatic Reset" and
"Automaticaly Recur when all subtasks are complete"
2.Tick the "Do not create a completed copy..." box
3. In the main Task recurrence window setting end occurrences to "End
After 1 Occurence".

But as its such a useful feature, (and possibly it's not obvious to
many others that this is possible) it would be a good idea to put all
these settings together in a little button below to the "Recurrence"
tickbox in the properties window and maybe just call it "Autocomplete
from subtasks", with some adjacent text warning that "this
automatically overrides existing recurrence settings"
