There have been numerous discussions about using MLO to establish task
priorities. From early days MLO prioritisation was centered around an
objective mathematical algorithm using numerical values. More recently, I
have read a lot of productivity writing about using more subjective methods
to determine priorities. These have included things like taking account of
personal energy levels, using intuition, and even asking a system to
randomly allocate tasks to do away altogether with the decision making
process about what to do next. Might be interesting to consider how MLO
could support this trend. As an example of a technique which could be used,
look at the following tool which derives priorities by looking at pairs of
tasks. The idea is to answer immediately and instinctively without thinking
too hard - a bit like doing a psychometric test. I'd be interested in what
others think? http://prioritizer.idea-sandbox.com/
