Hi, I think we can always have a good talk about our needs and solutions. In my view is not complaining but a way to learn from each others experiences. Many times i have multiple needs that are not addressed by a single solution, but disperse. That's why something can be great and we can still move on. The new solution doesn't have all the stuff we need just a better trade-off.
In my case, i have a strong need that my software can run on linux, ios and windows (two web interfaces can do the job just fine) without have to remember to press buttons. In a very close priority, the need to fulltext search and flexible querys. I didn't find all this in one solution. That's why i still think MLO is great in the windows desktop. In the end i'm agreeing with you, don't you think?
