How did you load the tasks on the new computer? Is anything else "off" with them? Are the two versions of the software the same?
I would look and see if there is something else making the tasks inactive. If you still have access to the old computer you might consider syncing to cloud or a mobile device, then syncing to a new file on the new computer -- be careful not to try to merge into your already-acting-oddly-file. Hopefully others will have more ideas!
