I cannot find my old message regarding this problem any more, please
forgive me. But I figured that both the users and developers would be
interested (hopefully) in my findings.
I set up a different mail account today and this time it did not crash
the entire program without any message, but I received an error
regarding the autentification method which obviously has failed. I
believe google uses SSL/TLS, the account I used (which gave me at least
the error) used STARTTLS. Thankfully I had another option left with the
second account and this mail was directly send to said account.
So, obviously the authentication has to get fixed in order for that
feature to work securely with current email accounts.
Question: Should I send the error.txt to support in order to file a bug
report or is this posting sufficient?
I am always willing to send any staff the error file for further work.
