Could your new tasks be inheriting a default date from a parent or
grandparent?

Subject: [MLO] Timing & Reminder 'next day' and 'next week' start date stuck
in the past, fails to consider start date from 'today'

Timing & Reminder 'next day' and 'next week' Start due date stuck in the
past, fails to consider start date from 'today'.

Something happened to my tried and true kitchen sink list about a month ago,
and it's driving me nuts.

1) Whenever I add a task, then click on 'today', the Due Date is correct
tagged with 'Today'.
2) Whenever I add a task, then click on 'next day', the Due Date indicates a
date from about a month ago.
3) Whenever I add a task, then click on 'next week, the Due Date indicate a
date from about a month ago, plus the add'l week.

Somehow or another, when adding any new task, the Start date (but not the
Due date) is pre-populated with a prior date that I can't seem to eliminate.
I know it's a problem in some setting for the file itself, since a new file
behaves as expected.

Any suggestions, tips, welcome... not sure what I'm missing... It seemed to
happen some time around the update to 3.6.2-- this may be coincidental, or
it may be something I've done, but that remains to be seen...

Thx All... !
