I am one the private beta testers and my personal assessment is that the product must be close to being ready for a public beta (but I have no inside information). The produce is robust and is pretty usable - I am using it for my day to day work and finding the new features - particularly tabs and the ability to open multiple windows on the same file a major step forward.
I don't think I am revealing anything I shouldn't in saying that Andrey appears to focussing on just sorting out the remaining issues with the new functions that he has added and does not appear to be planning to add any further new capabilities. V4 is a significant step forward for MLO and will definitely have been worth waiting for!
