I still have v3 installed via the installer. I have v4 set up as a flash installation in a completely separate folder.
I have now two to-do files, call them todo-3 and todo-4, for v3 and v4 respectively. If I open todo-3 in v3 and exit it, when I open v4, it automatically loads todo-3, the v3 version. If the flash installation is truly flash / portable, it should not be reading the registry to obtain the last file opened by v3, it seems to me. Obviously this is only a temporary problem since, like an orangutan, I'm just hanging on to one tree until I'm sure the next tree will hold my weight. But does anyone have any ideas about solving this so I don't make a mistake and save the v3 file using v4 and thereby make it unusable?
