The reason why it does not work is simply that MLO does not support 
CRAM-MD5 authentication via SASL (which is the only method currently 
allowed in my Postfix).
When I allow PLAIN auth, everything is okay. I think you should support 
this mechanism, because it's pretty common and PLAIN or LOGIN are insecure 
over non-encrypted connections.
