On android, to add a task you can either hit the "+" button or you can use
a shortcut from your home screen. I like the "record" shortcut, which goes
straight to voice recording. (has anyone figured out how to add shortcuts
to the home screen on Jellybean?) The widget also has an add task button.

Then, when you are ready to sort through your tasks, you can change the
Context, i.e. category, by editing the task, but this will not change its
location in the tree. In MyLifeOrganized, these are separate concepts. To
move it to a new parent, go to the outline view from the home screen, and
select menu –> move. I usually collapse all and then open the inbox node
first. this will bring up move mode in which you can drag and drop tasks on
to new parents. If you only have a couple you can cut and paste.
