Hi Dwight, In MLO4 , we now have the possibility to filter the outline with the use of contexts. That's great.
For example, I have a context for each collegue I'm working with. That helps a lot to deleguate, and to check if the work is done So, I filter my outline in order to dress a lis for someone. The "show in hierachy" option helps a lot to keed a good overview of the responsabilities / Projects. Then, I would like to print this list in order to tell someone what I want him to do, and for which project(s) (And I give him the color paper list). But I didn't find a "proper" way to print a pretty list that look like the outline (same hierachy, same design, same colors, ...). Furthermore, the copy/paste into Word option, doesn't work for me : - All tasks are duplicated (I hadn't this issue in MLO3). - A kind of "word plain list" is not really good to communicate. If I give this kind of list to deleguate, I'm sure that the work will NOT be done. Just because it requires an additionnal mental step, to sort what is really "to do" from the notes, which task belong to which project etc. The MLO print option isn't much better than a word copy paste. It's not really pretty nor well-arranged. The only way I found, is to make a screenshot of my MLO tree, and then paste it into paint :-), and then print it. For the commucation, It works great ! I even receive my lists back, where my coworkers check all the task they have done ! But the making of the list with the screenshot and paint, is not really a solution, and it is too slow ! I hope you understand me. Sorry if my english isn't so good as it should be. And I still want to mention that I love MLO !
