I've set up my mlo to reflect your ideas and I think it's going to work 
well. I love the idea of 'starring' today's tasks. Up to now, I had been 
due dates to manage which tasks to do. Of course, they slipped and kept 
nagging at me.

Now I can be more specific about what to do each day depending on my 
commitments and energy.

I have added "due before today +3" to the un-starred week and month view to 
help control dated items. I still have many tasks that I need to assign a 
goal to (I hadn't used goals before).
