Having a checkbox that changes the behavior would be quite confusing, I
think. I'd prefer Dwight's additional fields, and they could be integrated
into the project area so that newbies don't get too confused.

Given that I've seen people over and over come onto this forum and not
understand the concept of Active (which I fully support as quite useful)
I'm a bit concerned when automatic, complicated roll-up of attributes is
proposed. I would fully support a macro addition (when X then Y) because
it's user defined, but automatic needs to be very carefully designed so
that a part of the user base is not alienated.
