Just speaking as a user, historically the developers have not provided screenshots or feature lists until the last moment as they are subject to change based on beta feedback. Even the software provided to beta users is usually fairly stable and far along in the process.So not having these is not an indication of how far along they are. sorry, I know that's not particularly comforting :-)
