I want to simply archive complete sections of my hierarchy. Usually the top of the part I want to archive is a folder, with tasks under it, or a project with tasks, and maybe sub sections under it. Often I mark a folder also as a project. I dont have any reoccurring tasks, and all the tasks are completed (except the folders which can not be ticked as completed, but if they are marked also as a project, I can then say its completed.
I have tried every way of selecting items I can think of, and what gets archived is usually nothing, but once in a while when I selected only completed tasks under a folder or project, 10 to 60% of them would archive, but not the rest. I even removed the folder and project status from everything and tried. Still no luck. Eventually I just cut and paste in to another file. I also made sure I selected the archive everything before today, etc. What is going wrong in my approach?
