MLO's move is also super handy: Select a task you want to reparent, hit ^M, 
then type the name of the parent, then enter. You can also choose what view 
the move dialog uses also. So you can just select from a view of just 
projects/folders/etc.

Because move is so quick my preferred approach is to just put items in 
<Inbox> all day, then use move to put them in the right place (and set 
their priority) once a day during review.
