Every since the MLO Hotkeys script for AutoHotkey stopped functioning correctly with v4.x i've found entering and manipulating start and due dates to be quite cumbersome in MLO. I use a filter for day to day tasks that requires the Start date for a task to be set. Therefore when I set a due data I require that at least the start date be set to today's date. However, there is no hotkey for this and my whole process has slowed down considerably using this application for fast manipulation of tasks in day to day use.
Does anyone have ideas on a solution for this? Ideally I'd like to have a range of hotkeys that will set the due date to todays date, tomorrow, 2 days, 3days, etc. and have the start date always set to today's date at the same time. Ideally it would work with recurring tasks well although this is not absolutely necessary. MLO Hotkey did this perfectly by the way and one fellow attempted to help me out with getting that working again but that didn't really work out. What would be great would be to isolate and pull out the code for that particular feature and put it into a separate script. The reason being that MLO Hotkeys contains a large number of features, many of which do not work with the current v4.x versions and which may be redundant at this point. Is there anyone else who requires this and might be interested in working on this with me? I wonder if Andy has ideas on how this could be incorporated into the hotkeys for the product as well.
