Hi, pttravis. I don't know much about this but I thought I would share the one idea that I do have. Let's hope that someone who actually knows about this stuff can give you a better answer
I'm not sure but I think that port 465 is for encrypted (SSL or TLS or something like that) access to an SMTP server. I think I remember that the port number 25 is for unencrypted SMTP. I don't know whether or not MLO encrypts its SMTP accesses, but if it doesn't it may need you to use port 25.
