Hi Dave, I don't have a save option either but whenever I make an edit and press the 'back' key all my changes are saved. You have no missing menu, button or anything but you have a faulty install.
I have a HTC One with Android 4.2.2. So, your error is that the back key crashes MLO. I would try uninstall and install again and if that doesn't work I would open a new thread with a different title (something like "Pressing back button crashes android version").
