The manual sort order is lost under the following conditions:

MLO Windows, rel. 4.2.0 (but also 4.1.1). Windows XP.

-Use a view with Manual Sorting selected, Ascending type.
-Group the view by start date and let the option "The date groups in this
view are grouped only by days" NOT selected.
Now try to manual sort some tasks on "Tomorrow" group (need to have some
tasks with start date=tomorrow); the tasks must also have start date&hour
specified: sort as to place some task with earlier hour below some other
with later hour.
Close MLO.
Change the system date of PC: forward it by one day (just to simulate that
one day has passed).
Open MLO.
You will notice that the manual sorting on the current "Today" group (the
"Tomorrow" one has now turned into "Today" for the forwarding of the system
date on the PC) is not keeped: it has been reset to the new order
Ascending, following the hours (earlier hours above the later ones).

If instead you try to select the option "The date groups in this view are
grouped only by days", and repeat the test, the manual sort order will be
keeped.

I do not know if there is any good reason for this (it could be; may I know
which is it?).

Best regards.
