Short explanation - I did but I'm actually having a hard time from a big picture point of view when it comes to synchronizing data in general.
Long explanation - The GTD model recommends that all of your tasks get funneled into a single inbox as a starting point but there seems to be no easy and reliable way to do this. Let's say that I want to use my outlook.com email as the starting point where I dump all my information. This works fine from a desktop computer, but android does not natively support outlook tasks (or google tasks for that matter). The MLO app for android does not directly sync this information either, which means that one must add another layer of synchronization to their GTD process. Let's say that instead of using outlook as my inbox starting point, I use MLO. This now means that I have to have access to MLO and Outlook so that I may manually copy and paste information from emails over to MLO instead of just converting an email to a task. This process becomes even more cumbersome on a cellphone screen. Some might say that I could create a task by forwarding the email as an easy fix. However, email is not the only source of where my tasks can come from. I need to sort through the information from text messages, voice mail, social media - facebook/linkedin events, messages, evernote, my password management program, quicken, youmail, etc. Personally, I am impartial to which program I end up using for an inbox starting point but for the time being it seems that an email client is the closest thing. This is not an endorsement for Outlook as a GTD program, but merely to illustrate my point. Outlook can be set up with unified communications so that voice messages get sent there and transcribed (google voice, youmail, and others do this). Evernote and OneNote both have plugins for outlook that let you move your data to either notebook program. From Onenote, you can assign todo list items which show up in outlook. The issue of course is that some of this data needs to be moved to a more sophisticated project management program such as MLO, which brings us back to the synchronization issues.
