Following from what I found regarding an excellent urgent/important task view in Omnifocus, here's a different view by the same author that I have found very useful: the Scheduler - http://colterreed.com/scheduling-tasks-in-omnifocus/
Here's the view settings I've got in MLO for this: - Active actions - Start Date: from (blank) to Today+300 (can be longer if you want) - Start date exists OR is in Inbox OR Due date exists - Project status = In Progress OR not in a project - Ignore my folder containing daily/weekly routines - Group by Start Date, ascending - Sort by Starred, then Start Date, then Due Date Another excellent idea from this article that I had never thought of before: if a task doesn't have a start date, then it's by definition a Someday/Maybe. That's why I have the "Start date exists OR is in Inbox" condition. Please read the rest of this article to see how this view should be used. Combining this with the urgent/important view that I presented earlier is very powerful. -Simon -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
