Dwight, I am using a wi-fi sync to the desktop. The screen shots were taken immediately after a sync, so, no, they do not converge. I have had the problem since I started using the product, so I cannot describe how to reproduce the problem, since it has always been there.
Based on a suggestion from another respondent, I synced the Android with the desktop, backed up that profile, cleared the data on the Android and resynced from the desktop. That seems to have cleared up the issue. At least I haven't seen it reoccur in several days.
