Hello Alexis, Allow multiple instances doesn't allow you to open the same file in both instances. I can see why - it would be very difficult to keep both instances synchronised. However, F3 works well for moving tasks around within one outline file, as described by Dwight.
I was hoping that I could use multiple instances to drag and drop tasks from one outline file to another (effectively as a manual backup), but you have to cut and paste, because MLO doesn't support drag and drop between multiple instances. In fact drag and drop could be massively improved. I'd like to be able to drag text from other programmes (eg MS Word or pdf copies of meeting minutes) to create new tasks, or to drop into the notes of existing tasks. Here's hoping...
