I think you are talking about the view called "Review" under outline. When I click on the view title I get to the view configuration options, and I scroll down and look under Advanced. It shows tasks for which next review exists and next review on or before today. Perhaps your tasks are set to be reviewed later? I'm not sure why this view is under Outline since most outline views don't discriminate based on date. You might want to modify it to be what you want.
