John, I think that you should seriously consider my suggestion to use a 
split screen with a next actions view in one side and tasks with your 
custom flag in the other side.

ps nobody can predict how long it will take MLO developers to release an 
update containing a change you have suggested. I'm just saying that it's 
long enough that you need a plan for how you will get your work done in the 
interim. -d
