No, that's not possible, John.

Slightly more of a problem for me, you can't truncate the project name either, 
unlike how you vpcan truncate the task path name if it isn't in a project.

One option to try: under Options - To-Do List Format, you can put the project 
name after the task description, instead of in front of it.
