RTF (rich text formatting) is a popular request, Wim. (Not for me, though: I'm happy to use tags for _underline_, *bold* and _____________ line separators, along with the hyperlinking to drawings, photos and more complicated or detailed information on my hard drive.) I'm sure that the more posts like your's there are, the more likely it is that Andrey will consider adding this feature.
