I know this issue has been raised before e.g. this thread 
<https://groups.google.com/d/topic/mylifeorganized/ezxzW1vCYqs/discussion>.

I suspect the problem lies elsewhere than MLO. It may be Windows system 
related or caused by a conflict with another program such as an Anti-Virus 
or Clipboard Manager. As always when something like this happens, ask 
yourself what has changed recently? Despite appearances to the contrary, 
computers always do the same thing unless something else changes.
