Hi, Bob. The behaviour you are looking for is implemented in Zoom, not in 
Filter. Get rid of the toplevelparent filters and instead, select the top level 
parent for each view, select it, right click and select Zoom In. You get pretty 
much the same view except (1) the top level parent is not itself a part of the 
view any longer (2) you now have a banner across the top of the view stating 
that it is zoomed, (3) newly created tasks are created at the root level of the 
zoom (ie the top level parent) rather then the root of the whole tree.
