Android users: you may be puzzled if you forget that if you apply a filter to a view (e.g. "Active Actions") in the app, that same filter will affect that view in the widget.
This happened to me as I was playing with the new MLO2 for Android. I had recreated the widget and set it to display the *Active Actions* view. A few days later, I was puzzled to find the widget displaying "No items in view" instead. (There were tons of active actions in my MLO profile.) I discovered that earlier in the week, in the app, I had filtered *Active Actions* using a string that didn't exist in my profile. That filter had also affected the *Active actions* view displayed in the widget. Once I removed the filter in the app, both the app and the widget resumed displaying all *Active actions*. So keep that in mind: the widget displays the app's *current *result set from the selected view. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MyLifeOrganized" group.
