Hello Jorgen, I agree, that would be a nice, lightweight alternative to full RTF. Andrey could even include some formatting buttons which remove the need for users to know the markdown key codes.
I thought the codes were /italic/ and *bold*, though? I guess users would then want the ability to disable markdown, if they use some of those special characters for other purposes in their notes...
