Hi, Karey. I am about 75% certain that MyBackup will back up the data associated with each .apk ONLY IF THE PHONE IS ROOTED.
Most of us use either cloud sync or wifi sync to copy the tasks etc to another device; I can testify that recovering from the synched copy is clean and easy, although there are some important things (views, settings) that still have to be recovered.
