Do you mean WiFi sync, or do you mean Cloud sync, Will? Mok's answer
applies if you're synching with an MLO cloud account. If you're doing
direct WiFi sync, then both your Android device and your Windows computer
need to be on the same network. I find, when I take my PC into work, that
my office WiFi assigns a different IP address to it every time. As a
result, I have to keep unpairing and reconnecting WiFi sync from scratch -
This is such a faff, that I now no longer sync while I'm in the office, but
wait until I get back home, where I have a static IP assigned to my laptop.

If the above sounds like gobbledegook, then I'm sorry, but your IT person
will understand.
