I second that. The ability to keep it simple when needed. Not only are users different - the need for complexity / automation etc. also varies greatly with the AREA of living and working. Volume, complexity and frequency/action level are parameters as to the level of bells & whistles needed. In really simple areas, these get in the way instead.
