Hi, tdream. On MLO/Windows, select "Archive..." from the File menu.

On the Archive popup, look at the bottom bullet "permanently delete old
tasks" - if that is selected then the tasks you archived are gone and can
only be retrieved by reloading them from a backup copy of your profile file
made before you did the archiving.

If that bullet is *not* set, then the bullet above it "copy old tasks to
archive" should be set. The next line is the filename where your archive is
kept. Copy the whole filename and then select "Open" from the File menu.
open the archive file and you should see all of your archived tasks.

Select "Options" from the Tools menu. In the Options popup, select
"Behaviour" from the column on the left, then find "allow multiple
instances" in the column on the right. Make sure that the checkmark is set.
This allows you to open both the archive file and the profile file in two
different windows and set them up on your screen next to each other, and
then you can use copy&paste or drag&drop to move tasks from the archive
back into the profile.
