Hi, tdream, you are using Windows, right? If you need detailed steps for 
any of the actions below let me know and I will provide them.

1. Bring up the view properties panel in the left sidebar, be sure it is 
displaying the view that you were looking at.

2. Find the part (probably near the top) where it says: Show hierarchy:no, 
change it to yes.

3. click on the word "config" which appears right after the "show hierarchy 
yes" button. 

4. In the little box that comes up be certain that "include child items" is 
checked and that nothing else in the box is checked.

that should do it.
