Marianne, it sounds as though your Android system has closed context
processing disabled. From any to-do list, tap on the three-dot icon at the
bottom right to expand the bottom menu, then select "context filter" which
is shown as a funnel with an at-sign.
When the context filter page comes up, look at about the second line for a
toggle called "include closed contexts " the toggle should be off to match
the behaviour of your windows system. My theory is that this toggle is on
in your Android and off in your windows
