Hi john, My set up isn't like yours so I have no solutions for you. I am only using 2 tabs, 1 all task tree form tab & 1 whatever views Tab. This enable me to quickly move tasks around the tree & also enables me to see all tasks & sort by any views I want anytime.
I also make sure of the F3 pop up windows. Just align MLO main window & the F3 pop up window side by side, and you can copy paste tasks easier. I also use a lot of 'zoom in' feature. So I can focus on looking at certain areas of my life. FYI, I arrange my folders as Areas of focus/responsibility. I do try many tabs & also lock & pin tabs but I find it not suitable & confusing for my usage. So I ditch them & keep things simple. I only pin 1 tab which is the all task tree tab on the most left. For your case, maybe try assigning icons on each of the tabs for easier visual cue on what the tabs are (much like the chrome pin tab)? I hope MLO staff can answer your questions as I think this is more technical & can only be done from software programming. On Feb 6, 2018 3:59 AM, "John .
