I've finally updagraded to MLO 2 Android. I vowed that MLO 1 Android will taken from me over my dead body! .... until my notifications finally started breaking down when I moved to a new phone.
Anyway, I've put the time in and I think MLO 2 is good. I'm liking it. Improvements have been made since first release and I'll stick with it. But the one thing that bugs me and slows me down is moving taks around. Used to be very fast in MLO Android 1. In MLO Android 2: 1) Long press a task. 2) Select the cut/copy icon 3) Select cut 4) Go to intended location 5) Long press intended location. 6) Select paste icon. Can the above be kept the same but have a simplified option for quick-moving tasks? 1) Long press a task 2) Cut icon already in pop up task menu 3) Go to intended location. 4) Long press on task location 5) Basic paste icon included in pop-up task menu: paste (function judges best option: if you have selected a folder, it'll paste as a child. If you have selected within a folder, it'll paste as a sibling. It may be one or two button-presses improvement, which doesn't sound a lot. But over the amount of times I juggle tasks, it would save a lot of time. Or any better suggestions? I don't know. or am I using the "Move Task" function incorrectly. I would have thought when selecting "Move Tasks", the All Tasks/Outline view would appear so we can choose where to put task, but some weird Folders/Projects view comes up which doesn't help at all. Any suggestions? Thanks For me, this is the one essential area where MLO Android 2 falls down and I'd love for it to be improved (or be shown that I'm just wong and using it incorrectly!)
