I installed MLO5 today and I had the same concern. I found that MLO had saved a backup copy of my auto-formatting rules before updating.
Go to Options / Autoformatting / Import, then look for the backup copy in the same folder as your MLO data file. The file will be named something like xxxx_autoformat_backup.mlaf . This will append your old rules to the list of new rules, so you might need to re-organize them a bit.
