Not sure, but you could try to export the full database in xml (File, 
export, mlo XML), open the XML file with a program like GEANY or NOTEPAD, 
use CONTROL + F to find the task you what to edit, edit its completion 
date, save, open a new empty MLO database , reimport the XML file you 
previosly edited, and you should be good to go. Now use this database 
instead of the previous one
