Hi, Thank you for this message! We are 100% certain that it is a false positive detection since the new update for MLO does not contain any harmful files. We have already submit a dispute to Symantec, now we are waiting for their reply. Hope they will whitelist MLO very soon. Meanwhile, you can follow advice from another user: "To get it to allow me to update, I finally had to turn off Norton’s Auto-Protect mode."
