Hello Stevan, As in our private conversation, I think you could ask for "zoom out by one level" as a feature request for a new button / hotkey. I can see how that would be useful for you.
If you're using zoom a lot, one thing to remember is that filters and views are applied after the zoom. Because of this, if you have a filter which has different rules for top level items and for their children, it will show different results depending on what level you're zoomed in to. To me, that's unintuitive (as discussed on a thread in the beta testing forum), but you'll be fine as long as you're aware of it.
