Hello The Alsatian,

Good news: It's already possible to do what you want, in the Windows 
version. You need to set up a tab with a view filtered to show "Unassigned 
Tasks" (maybe the predefined In Box view does that, for you?). You can then 
right click on that tab and select "open in new window", or press F3. 

Select whatever view you want in the main window and then you can drag and 
drop tasks from the F3 window to wherever you want in your outline.
